Every year when it hits 90 degrees (which was this past weekend) I update my summer make-up routine just a bit. Even if I’m wearing hardly any make-up I will almost always wear unseen sunscreen and it cosmetics CC cream. With both of these products I feel like my skin looks and feels better at the end of day. I use just a light amount of eye and cheek make-up that takes about 5-10 minutes total.
I start off in the mornings with just rinsing my face with water. Then I put on first aid moisturizer and let it sit while I get the boys up for the day. After that I put on unseen sunscreen, get breakfast, and then put on the cc cream with a beauty blender. I finish up with using the same Cali contour palette on my eyes and cheeks using the tutorial here. I usually swap in NARS for the blush because it is lighter than the Cali contour palette blush. I line my eyes with Stila liner in dark brown on the top and MAC Teddy on the bottom lashes and then a coat of Benefit roller lash mascara. I lightly fill in the sparse areas in my brows with Hourglass brow pencil, and set them in place with Anastasia clear brow gel (my brows are quite unruly).
I finish things off with my new favorite lip gloss, Laura Mercier in tulip. It’s bright without being over bearing, and I’ll definitely be wearing it to the beach soon!
