It’s that time of year where I stock up on products that I use constantly until the next Sephora sale in the Fall. This time around I have a variety of hair, skin, and make-up products.
Here’s the list of what I’m buying that are new and tried and true hair products:
I picked out a few things to set aside for the boys to give me for Mother’s Day, and the microfiber hair wrap is one of those. My sister and niece each have one and love it, so I need to step up my game.
I always get Bumble and Bumble heat protectant spray when it’s on sale because it’s expensive but worth it to keep my ends from getting fried.
Finally, I have the Olaplex shampoo and conditioner and love them. I don’t use them every time I wash my hair, but every other time. I’m adding this serum for the ends of my hair after I heat style it.
And here are my skin care products that I am stocking up on:
I have run out of my Becca primer, and since they are going out of business I need something new. I’ve read good things about Hourglass primer, so I got the smallest size to try out. If I like it, I’ll buy the value size this Fall.
St. Tropez gradual tan is by far my favorite self tanner. It looks really natural for my super light skin, and yes it smells like self tanner, but it’s not ridiculously strong. I will usually apply it on a weekend day and then wear it for eight hours and shower. I’m also picking up a new mitt because I ripped my old one. The best tutorial for self tan is this one.
For most of the summer I wear Supergoop unseen sunscreen. I do wear something stronger when we go to the beach, but unseen sunscreen is my favorite for everyday.
Always Fresh caramel lip balm. Always the last thing I put on at night.
Next is Cauldelie Hydrating Serum. I have loved the Drunk Elephant Serum, but lately I think it isn’t working as well. I don’t know if my skin has gotten used to it, but it seems to be drier now with wearing it than it was before. I’m going to see if switching products helps.
Replica Beach walk. Again this is one I’m trying a smaller size, and then I’m going to put it on my list for my birthday if I like it. It seems like a lighter scent perfect for summer.
Josie Maran whipped aragan oil is literally my favorite, I buy it at every Sephora sale.
And I’m picking up a refill of my First Aid ultra repair cream.
I had no plans to buy this much make-up, but a pink lip, good mascara, and light shadow are can’t miss perfect summer go to’s:
NARS Schiap lipstick and Laura Mercier Tulip lip gloss to wear to the beach.
Lancome mascara, Laura Mercier caviar eye cream stick in blossom, and Stila liner in brown round up my summer eye look.
