Kitchen sink cookie bars

Kitchen Sink Cookie BarsI found the recipe for these cookie bars on Pinterest the other day and there were three major components that made them a winner for me.

1. No mixer required. You can use one bowl and mix everything by hand.

2. You can add whatever mix-ins you have on hand. I used spring Oreos and mini m&ms. Press the m&ms in by hand, it will make them stick better.

3. They are done baking in less than 25 minutes. And in my house they were gone in about five.* J declared them a “yum, yum!” And even though J hasn’t really ever met a sweet he doesn’t like, it’s still a gleaming recommendation!

*Serve them warm with ice cream, and they will disappear even faster! Happy Wednesday afternoon!
