My home gym is little, but efficient. Thankful for my trainer letting me keep up with class virtually! We are rolling into the weekend with all kinds of good vibes for the year going forward. I was so inspired by the poem read at the inauguration this past week! The content was beautiful and it was on point public speaking and I’m looking forward to sharing it with my classes coming up. And this may be my very favorite Bernie meme:
Although I’m also partial to this one:
We have gotten into a routine of Friday night being take-out and movie night and I think this week we are going old school with The Karate Kid. We have watched Soul, Black Panther, and a Wrinkle in Time this month, all of which I would highly recommend if you haven’t seen them! Here are a few more favorites of the week!
If you pick up one thing from the Studio McGee Target line try to grab these boxes, they are well crafted and look more expensive than the price point. While they are out of stock right now, I have found that their past products do restock.
I decided for the first time in three years that I am not teaching over the summer. I’m looking forward to sleeping in, book reading, gardening, and bringing back Art in the Afternoon with the boys. I think we are going to start with Cezanne.
I loved this kitchen remodel because it has similar tones to our kitchen while bringing in wood accents that I love.
I picked up nail stickers to try out from Target and they stay on surprisingly well.
This strawberry shortcake fudge looks like a fun Valentine’s dessert to make with the boys.
A refresh in comfy basics.
And, kindness. Small things are big things, and they add up.
Finally I want to leave you with this scripture page one of my friends posted this week that had me inspired:
Happy Friday, friends!
