Why I went back to Prescriptives

This is going to sound like an ad, but it’s not! Lately I’ve been in a foundation rut. I was wearing a Smashbox foundation, but then they stopped selling my color. Then I was wearing L’Oreal, which was fine, but in our humidity state it wouldn’t last all day, even with my Laura Mercier primer. Then I bought Laura Mercier foundation at Sephora, and to be honest, I don’t love it. It makes it look like I’m wearing foundation, which I don’t love. I was scanning beauty blogs and thought about Giorgio Armani’s luminous skin, but the price point is so high.

When I started running out of my current foundation, I had a realization that I could buy my Prescrptives foundation online, and I thought, duh. This was my favorite foundation when I was in college, and through most of my twenties until they stopped selling it in store. They also have free shipping and returns, and I have my color memorized (ecru in fall/winter, cream in summer). I got it with a discount and I got four sample products that made me remember why I used to save up to buy their other products as well, including the false eyelashes mascara, and the comfort cream. Now it’s my mission to keep them in online business, so I don’t have to find another foundation, ha! Happy make-up shopping!
