A originally asked for a rock star, rock and roll birthday party this year. After doing research for decor I found myself completely uninspired, and not sure what to do because most of the stuff incorporated skulls and crossbones that I really wasn’t interested in doing for his birthday. I went back to the drawing board with A and asked him if there was any other party ideas that he would like. He said he wanted a “I am a Robot” party. I thought great, I can do that! Last year I saw a ton of robot items and figured it would be easy to put together. Not so much. After running around town one afternoon I ended up with six little plank board robots from Hobby Lobby and that was pretty much it.
Then I went on-line and felt a bit better abut what I found. I ordered shirts for the boys from Gymboree, favors and a few decorations from Amazon, and the rest we are going low key. I am making this Funfetti Cake from Baked Bree, and doing balloons and streamers for the rest of the party decor.
