It had been about three evenings since we had the chance to take Super A outside. When her boys where young my Aunt Lisa used to say that sometimes they needed to “just go outside and run”. A boy who has not had the chance to go outside and run will break things in your house, get themselves into all sorts of trouble, and wake you up at night. So if you are wondering why your toddler boy is acting all crazy and you haven’t taken them outside in a few days, now you know. You need to let them run.
Last night Super A needed to run. We took him outside after dinner and he spent over an hour chasing a ball, chasing us around with the hose, picking tomatoes, and working on his mower. Then he slept until 7:40 a.m. The benefit (for me! HA!) of being outside and getting to run.
