During the weekends I’ve been pulling out some of my beauty samples, and products I haven’t used in awhile to test or retest. The following are a couple of my favorites, and a few that are worthy of buying a full size once I run out.
First up, Milk makeup lip and cheek in Werk. Not bad, the product is not super creamy, but it’s not sticky. It’s okay, but I doubt I’d buy it in a full size.
Laura Mercier under eye brightening powder. This is one that I keep trying thinking it’s going to do something and I’m just like, eh. It’s fine. But I don’t know that it makes a huge difference.
Milk Kush mascara in blackest black. This I loved, it is is lighter than the mascara I wear during the week, but it’s super soft and I never get to the point in the day where I feel like I’m wearing it.
NARS eyeshadow in Ashes to Ashes. This one I’ve been buying forever, and I always go back to it. It’s perfect and neutral and easy to build.
Charlotte Tilbury rock n kohl eyeliner in bedroom black. This needs a really light hand or I end up looking wayyy over done, but with just a smattering of it, it has that undone, but a little dramatic look.
Laura Mercier lipstick in Devotion. This is a perfect pink. It’s no longer available but the Laura Mercier Blush Pink is pretty close.
Finally, Revlon cream eyeshadow in not just nudes is such a terrific base! To me the lightest color in this palette is a dupe for MAC painterly and goes on a lot smoother.
Happy Make-Up Monday!
