There’s always two points of the semester where I’m grading (what feels like) around the clock. One is, obviously, at the end of the semester, and the other is midterm, which was last week. This week I slotted in a bit of a grading reprieve for myself (and my students, ha!) before they have projects to turn in. As a college lecturer we always joke that every semester we say we will do less assignments, or time them better, but it always ends up the same. The boys have had several consistent weeks of in school and golf practice after school which has been wonderful! Here are some random things from our life lately!
We took the boys to the golf course on Sunday afternoon, and it was a gorgeous day, despite it being quite windy.
B brought home this cinnamon swirl brioche bread from one of our favorite bakeries Canadian Bakin, and it was gone in four hours.
I needed to reorder my b-hydra hydration serum and I ended up ordering Lancôme juicy tube in dusty rose. I can remember saving up in college to get these, and it is as sticky and fabulous as I remember. Wear it with throw back love, but don’t wear it on a windy day.
Finally, it’s been a couple of weeks, but my highlights look every bit as fabulous now as they did when I walked out of my stylists’ boutique:
