That time of year when everybody is soaking up the last bit of sun at 4:00 p.m. before the sun goes down and it’s too cold to be outside. We made it one whole week of school without any devices and J is definitely loving it. He’s all about the things they’ve written, and colored, and drawn. I think A is ready to have his laptop back so he’s not having to keep up with pages of notes, and having to rewrite things over and over for editing. We’ve got a week and two days before Christmas break and we are praying big time that we make it through without any sort of shenanigans. Here are a few things that I’m loving this week!
I’m currently reading Paulo Coehlo’s The Spy. It’s the story of Mata Hari, as told through the voice of her final letter.
These Christmas mugs are similar to the ones my Mom has that we use throughout the season!
I’ve been doing an Advent reading plan this month and I love this line of scripture from Isaiah.
Fun earrings from Baublebar.
I’m already thinking about how to style the house after the Christmas decor is put away.
These boots are my absolute favorites in winter, and I get lots of compliments on them!
Picking up orange rolls from Edgars for Christmas morning.
Josie Maran’s whipped argan oil is my absolute favorite go to right now.
All wild republic stuffed animals are favorites of the boys, but I know J is going to be very excited about this arctic wolf we got him for Christmas, he’s been talking about it for awhile.
Love the stories and recipes in each issue of Magnolia Journal.
