Fall Craft

Are there still leaves outside?? There should be some. I combined this craft with past finger painting and our adventure in finding leaves outside. It combines painting, tracing, and deciphering different leaf sizes. And cutting paper.

Materials Needed:

Leaves

Construction Paper

Crayon

Safety Scissors

The first thing you need to do is go outside and have your little cupcake find some leaves. We found about six or so of different shapes and sizes:

Now. You can have them finger paint something, let it dry, and then do the craft part. However, you can also use construction paper, cardstock, etc. I had a past, already dried, finger painting, so we used that. So find your paper and arrange your leaves…

Then have your little crafty kid put their hand flat on the leaf and help them trace around the leaf with a crayon.

Then have them cut the traced leaf out, or I cut it out since Super A is only two.

Now once you have all your leaf cut-outs you can do a few things with them. You can draw a fall tree and attach the leaves…or you can give them out with a little note written on them and attach them to a Ziploc bag holding yummy brownies, like we did for Granna. Happy Fall Crafting!
