B and I got caught sneaking dessert the other night after the boys went to bed…
A got up around 9 to go to the bathroom, and caught B and I eating our new favorite dessert…Dr. Pepper Floats. Busted! These are our favorite right now, and are completely addicting….you could add a bit of spiced rum if you fancy that. Just saying.
Ingredients
Dr. Pepper Vanilla Float (it’s new!)
Homemade vanilla ice cream*
Rainbow sprinkles if your fancy
Directions
Put one scoop of vanilla ice cream and top with the Dr. Pepper, and add sprinkles.
*Vanilla Ice Cream Ingredients (From our Cuisinart Recipe Book)
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated (or superfine) sugar
pinch of salt
2 cups of heavy cream
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
Directions
With a hand mixer blend together the milk, sugar, and salt. Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract. Cover and Chill in refrigerator for two hours or overnight.
