Yes I know he has a crazy side part. He needs a hair cut desperately. I trimmed his bangs myself today…more on that later! And on another note, how fabulous does my Mom look?! Gorgeous!

1. I am watching J slowly scoot his way backwards off his playmat and across the floor. Oh my.

2. I am desperately trying to save our pepper plant. It didn’t help that I first planted it in a pot not realizing there were no holes in the bottom…perhaps why it was so cheap at Lowe’s. Doh. I really shouldn’t be allowed to garden. I’m a danger to plants.

3. I tried this recipe from Real Simple this week. I pinned it to pinterest as well. It did not turn out well. The salmon was dry the potato chips burned in ten minutes…still trying to figure out where I went wrong. But my husband and I ended up having cereal that night. Luckily A quickly declared that he “loved it” and proceeded to eat yogurt instead. I think he was just trying to please his Momma.

4. A has his first little school performance this week. They told me today he refused to sing on the stage during practice. My boy…who sings ALL THE TIME. I’m really hoping he changes his mind and decides to sing for the performance.

5. I saw this video on Yahoo and decided to try it out for exercising. It involves short quick spurts of running. I do it out back with A when we are playing…mainly because you will feel like a goof when you do it alone…but it works!

6. I almost bought a huge keurig box at Costco but couldn’t because I didn’t know if I could commit to one flavor for that long. On a similar note it cracks me up how when I come home from grocery shopping right now A goes through the groceries and excitedly states “Oh thank you Mommy, these are my FAVORITE!” when he finds things he likes. Things he likes includes: cinnamon toast crunch cereal, cookies, yogurt, pizza rolls, and avocado.

7. A went through a crazy english muffin kick for a week and ate a whole one with peanut butter every morning, now he won’t eat them. I did that with hot pockets during college. HA!

8. I keep thinking J is teething because he is drooling and I can kind of see little white spots on the bottom of his gum…however, I doubt myself. We thought the same thing with A and he didn’t get teeth until he was almost a year. We used to talk about how we were going to have to spend thousands on baby teeth dentures for him.

9. My husband and are currently watching “The Killing” on AMC. It sounds gruesome, but it is not. If you haven’t watched it yet you need to start at the beginning of last season. It seriously torments my mind trying to figure out who did it. I keep trying to look up spoilers on it…Sherlock Holmes, I am not.

10. We sent our RSVP’s for my cousin’s wedding this past week. We are officially going to take a road trip, with a four month old. And a three year old. And a noise machine. And a DVD player. And LOTS of snacks and caffeine. I should probably start packing now!

Sleep Position 1 (couch): The “I don’t care how much space I take up”

Sleep Position 2 (high chair): The “Mommy has to cook dinner sometime and the microwave fan is my favorite white noise”

Sleep Position 3 (car seat): “The I will temporarily sleep here until I realize the car has stopped and remember I hate this car seat”

Sleep Position 4 (Mommy’s Arms): The “I want Mommy to hold me while I sleep from 6-7 am every morning”

The most hilarious part of our Easter morning was A’s happy dance whenever he would find an egg, it was elaborate!

Thank you Lord for your sacrifice, because of it we are blessed.

You are in size 1 diapers still.

You are growing like a weed, you have completely outgrown your newborn clothes and a good portion of your 0-3 month size clothes!

You are such a smiley baby, and you are already trying to talk! I think you are hoping to keep up with your big brother.

You take about 5-6 bottles a day at about 4-6 oz each. One night you slept for 7 hours straight! Usually you have one long feeding between 7 p.m. and 2 a.m. We have tried to move that last feeding back, but so far our attempts have not worked.

You sleep in the silliest positions! Hand over face, knees scrunched up, or completely sprawled out. You can also sleep sitting straight up, or even when we are holding you in the carrier.

You can hold up your head very well, although you don’t care for tummy time to try this out.
