Fear. Conquered.

Published by under Mini Cupcakes

Super A received a rocking horse for his first Christmas from my parents. When he was very little he liked it. When he got older he was scared of it. Then he was okay with it as long as you didn’t press its ears to make it neigh. But now. Fear, conquered.

Pardon our Progress…

Published by under Mini Cupcakes

I haven’t done lessons of the week lately because we are working on potty training. Which is without a doubt completely frustrating! Super A jumps back and forth daily from being really interested to not interested at all. I am working to be very consistent and patient with him but more than a few times [...]

Didn’t I say at the end of last season that I wouldn’t try gardening again? I think I did. About a month ago my husband and Super A bought some flower seeds for us to plant. Super A loved planting them in the pot in our backyard and has had a great time watering them, [...]

A Finished Canvas

We began a little finger paint project last week. I basically had Super A choose colors, then layer tape, and choose more colors, and then choose a shape, and then I painted the first letter of his name in the center. So here is our project in steps: Step 1: Super A chose, blue, green, [...]

Enfrijoladas…or Bean and Cheese Quesadillas

Published by under Monday Night Dinners

On Saturday Morning I caught an episode of Mexican Made Easy on Food Network. On the particular episode the host made this terrific looking bean and cheese quesadilla casserole. It is actually a two part recipe, and takes a little time, but once you make it, you can stretch it across several meals! First you [...]
